The most common abdominal ailments that give rise to nausea are viral infections (gastroenteritis). Nausea is also due to constipation and normal menstruation.
Brain and spinal fluid 

Nausea is associated with migraine headaches, head injury, brain tumors, stroke, bleeding into or around the brain and meningitis (inflammation or infection of the membranes covering the brain). It can also be due to    glaucoma, because of the pressure on the nerves at the back of the eye. It sometimes is a reaction of the brain set off by pain, emotional disturbance or being exposed to offensive sights or odors.

Balance centers in the inner ear — Nausea can be a symptom of vertigo, a dizzy sensation of moving or falling, when you actually are not. The most likely conditions that cause vertigo include motion sickness (due to repeated movements in different directions inside a car, boat, train, plane or amusement ride), viral infections of the inner ear (labyrinthitis) and certain brain or nerve tumors.

Reproductive hormones — nearly 50% of women complain of morning sickness during the first few months of pregnancy, being the side effect of birth control pills.
Medications — many medicines make you feel nausea as a side effect, especially if you are taking a number of me Ines at the same time. Chemotherapy drugs and antidepressants are some of the medicines that frequently cause nausea.
