The Chronic fatigue syndrome is an extreme feeling of weakness. People are so run down, that it interferes with their lives and can make it hard to function at all. Some people who suffer from this problem say they have trouble dealing with household chores as well as completing their official tasks.

Apart from a busy lifestyle, the following reasons also contribute to body weakness.

Many people use the term weakness which refers to the term tiredness, weariness, or lack of energy. People who suffer from certain medical conditions, like fatigue, insomnia, cancer, heart disease, adrenal disease, or influenza, may feel totally worn out.

1. Anemia 
Anemia is another reason, being the result of a lack of red blood cells, which bring oxygen from your lungs to your tissues and cells. You will weak and have difficulty while breathing.  Anemia is caused by an iron or vitamin deficiency, blood loss, internal bleeding, or a chronic disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, or kidney failure.

 2. Depression is another factor which causes tiredness. It is a serious illness which reduces appetite, sleep and normal functioning of the body. We are always self pitying ourselves, which results in negative thoughts which exhaust our minds.

3. Hyper or Hypo Thyroidism are also diseases that make us inactive. If the blood sugar levels are too high we are unable to function properly. Similarly, if the blood sugar levels are lower than usual, we experience extreme fatigue.
Symptoms of weakness:-

1. Trouble with daily tasks: – Weakness is also referred to as loss of muscle strength. If you feel tired soon while doing any activity then it is a sign of weakness.

2. Fatigue: – Getting tired for no reason is another sign of weakness. People who face weakness feel tired even while just sitting around doing nothing.

3. Sleep: A person facing weakness would feel drowsy and sleepy most of the time. This is one sign of weakness.
You can feel one or many of the below mentioned weakness syndrome(s): 

1. Lack of muscle strength or muscle weakness.
2. Pain and weakness in hand. 
3. Lack of physical strength. 
4. Weakness in arms, legs or foot. 
5. Fatigue – feeling tiredness and exhaustion.

How to get rid of weakness or fatigue with home remedies are listed below:-

1. Bananas: Bananas increase the sugar levels in the body and make you feel energetic. Whenever you are feeling weak, eat 1 or 2 bananas in order to revive yourself. You can make a smoothie or a shake too if you feel like having a change in taste. This is one of the best home remedies for weakness that you must try out.

2. Almonds: Almonds are a good source of energy and are rich in vitamin E. Eating a few almonds daily can make you feel active. Soak two almonds in water overnight. Next morning drink the water in which the almonds were soaked and eat the almonds too. Slowly you will start feeling more energetic.

3. Milk: Milk is filled with vitamin B which reduces weakness. Whenever you feel weak, drink a glass of warm milk and mix a teaspoon of honey in it. It instantly revives you and makes you feel a little more energetic.

Everyone suffers from cold and cough. Being an Indian, I would first try few home remedies before I switch to English medicines.

In this video, I’m going to show you 6 simple home remedies for common cold and cough. And these recipes can be prepared very easily and quickly.
#1 – Tulasi Kashayam or Holy Basil Syrup in English
For instant relief from cold, drink Tulasi Kashayam and it can cure acute running nose, cold and cough.

Tulasi leaves and Black pepper corns cures common cold and other common respiratory problems. They are very good anti-biotic, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial and rich in Vitamin C. Tulasi leaves also controls blood glucose levels.

Black pepper corns eases the congestion in the nose.

Ginger is an excellent anti-inflammatory and kills cancer cells in the body. It heals sickness, reduces tenderness and pain by giving relief for cough and sore throat. Ginger also stimulates blood circulation in the body.

Jaggery is very useful for respiratory problems like asthma and bronchitis as it prevents lung and throat infections in asthma patients. Due to its anti-allergic properties, it is also used as an effective treatment for chronic cough.


1. In a bowl, add some water and allow it to boil.
2. When the water is boiling, add some fresh Tulasi leaves to it, an inch of chopped ginger, a teaspoon of black pepper corns, and 2 teaspoons of jaggery
3. Mix them well and allow it to boil for about 10 to 12 minutes.
4. After 10 minutes, strain the Tulasi Kashyam into a glass.
5. Drink this hot, and your cold and cough should run away.

#2 – Turmeric Milk
Turmeric is known to treat viral infections such as cough and cold and it has an amazing antiseptic properties. Using Turmeric in Milk can quickly heal the cold and cough.

To prepare, add a little bit of turmeric powder into a glass of warm milk. Mix well and it provides instant relief for an aching throat and runny nose.

This is very helpful for kids, as well as adults suffering from common cold.

#3 – Honey and Lemon
Honey is a wonderful remedy for a sore throat and it also relives coughs more effectively. Honey does the soothing, while the lemon juice can help with congestion.

In a glass of warm water, just add 2 teaspoons of honey, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and mix them well. You can also add a little bit of black pepper powder into this.

#4 – Peppermint Kashayam / Syrup
Peppermint leaves are well known for their healing properties because Menthol in peppermint leaves soothes the throat and acts as a decongestant, helping to break down mucus.

To do the peppermint kashayam

1. Take a bowl, add some water and allow it boil.
2. Add some fresh peppermint leaves when the water is boiling.
3. Boil it for 5 minutes.
4. Strain the Kashayam into a glass.

#5 – Salt Water Gargling
This is an easy method. You just need to add some salt into a warm water and mix it well.

Gargle it for few seconds.

Salt water gargling soothes a scratchy throat that causes you to cough. This way it relives the irritation.

Don’t try this with kids who don’t know how to gargle salt water.

#6 – Warm Water
The best and easy way to cure cold and cough is to drink warm water frequently as it helps in fighting against common cold, cough and sore throat. Warm water also reduces inflammation in the throat.
